ITINERARY

DAY 01: MANILA - BEIJING (-/L/-)

Depart Manila for Beijing via PR 358 ETD 07:10 AM. On arrival, meet and transfer to a local restaurant for lunch. Visit the Temple of Heaven in the afternoon. Located in the southern part of central Beijing, the Temple of Heaven is China’s largest existing complex of ancient sacrificial buildings. The complex was used for annual ceremonies of prayer to heaven for good harvest by the Emperors.

DAY 02: BEIJING TOUR (B/L/D)

After hotel breakfast, proceed to your whole day tour of Juyongguan Great Wall and then proceed to the Panda Zoo.

Juyongguan Great Wall is one of the three most famous passes along the Great Wall of China, together with Jiayuguan and Shanhaiguan. At 37 miles (60 km) from downtown Beijing, it is the nearest section from the city proper. Besides the ancient wall, many old buildings, like towers and temples, can be seen from here. The Panda Zoo houses the giant pandas, the zoo's most popular animals. The pandas are endemic to China. Other rare animals are in the zoo's enclosures.

After the visit to the zoo, head to the Olympic Stadium which was used in the 2008 Summer Olympics. Enjoy your 45 minutes picture-taking outside of the Bird's Nest (National Stadium) and the Water Cube(National Aquatics Center). Along the way, drop by at the Herbal Shop and Jade Shop.

DAY 03 : BEIJING TOUR (B/L/D)

Breakfast inside hotel, proceed to your tour of Tiananment Square, a city square in the center of Beijing contianing the Monument of the People's Heroes, the Great Hall of the People, the National Museum of China and the Mausoleum of Mao Zedong. The Tiananmen Square is one of the top ten squares in the world.

Move to the Forbidden City, also known as the Palace Museum and Gu Gong in Chinese. It once served as the imperial palace for 24 emperors during the Ming and Qing dynasties (1368-1911). Ancient Chinese Astronomers believed that the Purple Star (Polaris) was in the center of heaven and the Heavenly Emperor lived in the Purple Palace. It was also forbidden to enter the palace without the emperor's permission. Hence, the name 'The Purple Forbidden City' or usually the 'Forbidden City'.

Proceed to the Summer Palace, a vast ensemble of lakes, gardens, and palaces. In 1988, UNESCO declared the palace as a World Heritage site, citing it as "a masterpiece of Chinese landscape garden design." Being that the natural landscape of hills and open water is combined with artificial features such as pavilions, halls, palaces, temples and bridges to form a harmonious ensemble of outstanding aesthetic value".

Have a free time of shopping at Wangfujing street, one of the most famous shopping streets of Beijing. Majority of the main area of this street is pedestrianised with many popular shops strewn along the way.

Visits to a Tea House and Silk Shop will be along the way to these famous landmarks.
